I went over to (b)’s house when he was really ill with an infection awhile ago. It seems like something that should be kind of a downer, but we watched American Beauty and even though he was ill and a bit cranky, I had a great time. He was still such fun and good company. I had never seen the movie before and was totally immersed in this course I was taking at the time about finding your purpose and that sort of thing. When the crazy real-estate wifey started talking with her voice all funny at the beginning I blurted out “She is not coming from essence!!” Maybe (b) wasn’t so amused, but I thought it was a hoot…
